VOLUNTEER
As a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, our volunteers mean the world to us. Without people willing to spend a little time (or a lot!), we simply would not be able to provide the services and sessions we do at the Centre. Volunteering doesn’t mean giving up every free day… Whether you have an hour or two each month to help at the occasional session, looking to contribute your time on a regular basis or wanting some work experience to boost your C.V – The Rhys Jones Community Centre would really appreciate your support. Whether you want to take part in “Run for Rhys”, or organise your own fundraising event, we love you! It also means YOU know you are supporting your community regularly without any effort or messing about.
We’ve partnered with Local Giving to securely process donations online. They handle setting up a regular direct debit safely and securely.

We regularly ask for donations of resources or raffle prizes.
Your help in supplying items we can use in our sessions or as prizes means we can budget monetary donations on more expensive items, or maintenance and staffing.

Rhys Jones Community Centre
Rhys Jones Community Centre is a registered charity (The Rhys Jones Foundation charity 1181110). We exist to benefit the community rather than private shareholders. We do not receive funding support from the Council. We apply for our funding and also raise money to keep the centre open by hiring our pitches, hall and portacabin to groups and individuals and the fantastic support of donors.
