Healthy Minds Project Worker (Part-time)

We’re recruiting a Healthy Minds Project Worker to drive and deliver the activities of the Croxteth Healthy Minds Project. You will work with volunteers to deliver an effective project which reaches out to young people aged between 8 and 19 to support their mental health whilst also promoting their personal, educational and social development. You will engage young people in a programme aimed to redress inequalities, improve their life chances, and empower them to take action on issues affecting their lives including health, education, unemployment and the environment, by developing positive skills and attitudes.

This role is initially part-time (10 hours per week, mainly evenings including weekends) for a period of 6 months. We will continue applying for funding to extend the role.

Healthy Minds Project Worker Job Specification

Job Title: Healthy Minds Project Worker
Reports to: Centre Manager
Liaises with: Youth Volunteers/Sessional Workers/Management Team
Location: Croxteth Ward, West Derby & Anfield – but the primary area is Croxteth
Hours: 10 hours initially with potential to increase as funding is found (mainly evening and weekends) – including a minimum of 4 evenings a week – including Friday & Saturday evening.
Salary: £4560.4 per annum equates to £8.77 per hour for 10 hours per week.
Contract: Short term 6-month contract – sessional hours only (due to funding)
